A remarkable achievement has been made in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as 15-year-old Lotanna Azuokeke has set a new record.
Azuokeke, who attends Bishop Otubelu Juniorate in Trans Ekulu, Enugu State, scored an impressive 99 in Mathematics, 88 in Chemistry, 86 in Physics, and 64 in English Language, totaling 337 points.

The news of the record-breaking feat was announced by Dr. Chiwuike Uba, spokesperson for the school’s founder, who praised Azuokeke for his academic excellence.
Uba noted that Azuokeke had surpassed the previous record set by Chidera Obi, who scored 329 marks five years ago.
