Bobi, a purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo dog from Portugal, has made history by becoming the world’s oldest living dog on record.
Guinness World Records officially recognized Bobi’s milestone on Thursday, as the beloved pet turned 31.

To celebrate the occasion, a grand party was thrown in the village of Conqueiros on Saturday, attended by 100 guests, including visitors from other countries.
Bobi’s owner, Costa, expressed his joy at the recognition and revealed that the dog holds a special place in his heart.
He shared with Guinness World Records that looking at Bobi reminds him of his loved ones who have passed away, such as his father, brother, and grandparents, and that the dog represents those generations.
